Cumberland, Maryland - Terrence "Terry" Lynn Koelker, 73, of Cumberland, Md., passed away suddenly on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at home, where he resided with his sister, Kim.
Born Jan. 29, 1952, in Cumberland, Mr. Koelker was the son of the late Robert Walter Koelker Sr. and Mary Ursula (Nies) Koelker.
Terry retired from the 7-Up Bottling Plant in Michigan. He was a member of the Cumberland Moose Lodge #271 and enjoyed playing golf and going fishing. In his younger years, Terry played softball for Caporale's and Miller's. Until his death, Terry would always be found in the kitchen making his famous spaghetti or pot of chili.
Terry is survived by his daughters, Tara Ann Hott and husband Denny, and Krista Lynn Twigg and significant other Dirk; his grandchildren, Jaret, Trevor and Nathan; his great-granddaughter, Aria; and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Koelker and wife Tracy, Kathy Darr and husband Danny, and Kim Stafford and husband Joe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.adamsfamilyfuneralhome.com, on Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m. A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will immediately follow at the Cumberland Moose Lodge #271.
