Chaneysville, Pennsylvania - Vera Eileen Roland, 87, of Chaneysville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with her family at her side.

Born May 2, 1938, Vera was the daughter of the late Leo Isner and Margaret (Stafford) Isner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Roland Sr.; her siblings, Gladys Gartzke, Richard Isner, Geraldine Fuller, Lester Isner and Marion Isner. Vera was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Vera graduated from Fort Hill High School and was a former employee of Kelly Springfield Tire Co., several local banks and credit unions, and retired from Chessie FCU as an assistant vice president. She was a member of the Flintstone V.F.D. and Central Assembly of God Church. She was the first woman on the board at Kelco.

Vera enjoyed going to the races, traveling in the RV with her husband, and gardening. She loved her family, especially her grandkids, as well as her four-legged family.

Vera is survived by her children, Richard "Dick" Roland Jr. and wife Robin, Kimberly Roland Smith and husband Kevin, Lisa Roland Smith and husband Bill, and Wendy Roland; her grandchildren, Jan McCusker (Clint), Debbie Fazzalore (Joe), Sarah Fordham (Allan), Tyler Smith (Danita), Kori Smith (Emily), Ruth Smith and fiancé Keith McDaniel, Joshua Ulrich and fiancée Chelsea Clark, and Chelsea Davis; and her great-grandchildren, Kyla, Layne, Ava, Brayden, Brinley, Jocelyn, Gus, Evelyn, Thatcher, Frost, Kevin and Richard; as well as several wonderful nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at Central Assembly of God on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 1 p.m., with Pastor Doug Seaman officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior.

Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
