Cumberland, Maryland - Vicki Lynn (Moore) Bucy-Abucevicz, 69, of Cumberland, Md., passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at her home.

Born July 5, 1956, in Barton, Md., Mrs. Abucevicz was the daughter of the late Cecil Benjamin Moore and Thelma (James) Moore, and her stepmother Lyda May Moore. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Cecil James Moore; a stepbrother, Jim Butts; a niece, Susie Moy; and her first husband, Gary Bucy.

Vicki was formerly employed at Top of All Sewing Factory, then at Biederlack as a cat-eye sewing supervisor. She was a member of the Barrelville Outdoor Club Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing Mrs. Claus alongside her husband for the gift deliveries. Vicki loved going on her yearly trip to the beach with her sister Jean and her nieces. She loved crafting, crocheting, scrapbooking, riding her Harley, watching her grandkids swimming, taking care of her flowers and her eagles, and taking care of her dogs.

Vicki is survived by her husband, George "Teddy" Abucevicz Jr.; her son, Travis Bucy and wife Christy; her stepdaughters, Lisa Gaumer and husband Jason, and Heather Linn and husband Gary; her grandchildren, Bryleigh, Brodie and Brayden Bucy, Daniel Pressman, Charlotte and Savannah Gaumer, and Max Linn. She is also survived by her sister, Jean Filer and husband Charles; a brother, Robert Moore and wife Bonnie; a stepsister, Dolores Harvey and husband Ron; and special nieces who were very close to her, Sharleen and Vivian; as well as many other family and friends.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, MD, www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m., with Sue Cook officiating.
