Virginia Lee Duckworth, 79, of Bloomington, passed away on April 19, 2025, at her residence. Born on October 17, 1945, in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Wolfe) Moreland.

Virginia lived a life rooted in service , faith, and family. As a devoted member of Allegany Baptist Temple Church in McCoole; she loved attending church services and singing the beautiful hymns she so dearly loved . She served her community as a school bus driver, safely transporting children, and as an activity aide at Georges Creek Adult Day Care, bringing comfort to residents. She loved to gardening, nurturing her beautiful flowers alongside her husband, and riding ATVs . She was most proud to be the loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished all the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Dewey Duckworth married on March 6, 1961; three children, Tammy Phillips, Mark Duckworth and companion Casey Bosley, and Charity Duckworth; eight grandchildren, Gabriella Smith, Michaela Smith, Isaac Smith, William Mayhew, James Phillips, Tryp Keith, Wyatt Duckworth, and Liam Duckworth; and three siblings, Melvin White, Richard White, and Barbara Carpenter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal (Duckworth) Nelson "DeeDee"; and two siblings, William "Billy" Moreland , Sandra K. Gluy and stepfather John White Jr.
