She dropped out of school at the age of 16 to run the family gas station; however, she received her diploma in 1974, forty-eight years after she left school to help run the family business. It was at this location that she met her future husband, Ab, when he frequently stopped for gas on his way to work at the Celanese.

My heartfelt condolences to Virginia's family. She was an encouragement to us at Frostburg Heights. I will miss visiting with her at Egle and will never forget her beautiful smiles and steadfast faith in God. She has received the best ever birthday present, being in His presence forever.

Ab and Marty and Families,
Your mom was a wonderful person. She is surely celebrating her Birthday in Heaven with her garden of Yellow Roses. I will never forget her, and how we teased her about the shoes in the closet. I loved her and you all dearly. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
