Virginia Pauline Tichnell Obituary
Confluence, Pennsylvania - Virginia P. "Pauline" (Berkey) Tichnell, 77, of Confluence, Pa., and Maryland, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020.
She was born Jan. 25, 1943, in Somerset, Pa., daughter of Orie Berkey, and raised by Laura Broadwater. Her parents, brothers, William and Carl Berkey, and sister, Marian Newman preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Bargy and husband, Bud, and family, and Donna Godlove and children, Iva and William Godlove; sisters, Betty Cameron, Shirley Nicholas, and Helen Humphrey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pauline was formerly employed at Bausch and Lomb and was a former member of Deer Park Town Council.
Friends will be received at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, Monday, Oct. 19, 2020, from noon to 1 p.m.
In observance of COVID-19 guidelines, masks and social distancing are recommended.
Services will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel McClintock officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.
