Hyndman, PA - Troutman, Vondell E., 67, of Meyersdale, Pa., went home with the Lord Feb. 25, 2026. Born Sept. 28, 1958, to the late Leroy and Charolette (Hayes) Troutman, he was also preceded in death by son, Travis Troutman; brother, Vance Troutman.

He was survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Glynnis (Hollada) Troutman; sons, Jeremy (Brittany) and Brandon (Cheyenne) Troutman; whom he adored, grandchildren, Cheylee, Alexis, Brooklynn, Melanie, Ayden, Maverick, Lyric, Adrielle; sisters, Charlene Troutman, Cheryl (Keith) Albright; brother, Ivan (Kimberly) Troutman; numerous nieces and nephews.

Vondell was a longtime treasurer of the Hyndman campground and caretaker of Cooks Cemetery. He really enjoyed his time on the farm and helping others. He was a member of Mount Harmony Church and a member of the NRA. He worked as a kiln fireman for the Zilhem Brick Yard for 40 years. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, PA 15545. A funeral service will be held March 4 at noon at the Tri-State Ministry, 232 Hyndman Road, Hyndman PA 15545, where Pastor Stevie Leydig will be officiating. Interment will follow at Cooks Cemetery.
