Hagerstown, Maryland - HAGERSTOWN [mdash] Wilda Mae Miller, 96, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Doey's House, with loving family members by her bedside.

Born on January 16, 1930, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Hardman) and Walter Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Herb Miller, Lum Miller, Leanie Higgins, and Bertie Zembower.

Wilda was employed in a variety of positions throughout her lifetime, and retired as a deli manager with Safeway Stores.

She was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan, enjoyed playing dominoes, completing jig-saw puzzles, preparing gourmet meals and trying new recipes. She also cherished spending time with family and friends. She was adored and celebrated as an awesome cook and hostess.

Wilda is survived by her son, John (Butch) Nine,and wife, Cindy, of Spokane, Wash.; daughter, Tammy Holtzman Montini, and husband, Ray, of Waynesboro, Pa.; daughter, Lisa Holtzman Rabens, and husband, Mike, of Williamsburg, Va.; grandchildren, Bret, Danielle, Ashley, Erik, Ray and Tony; brother, Merrill Miller, and wife, Mari; sisters, Audrey Wills and Patty Often; eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Faith in Christ United Methodist Church, 100 South Church Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268, with Pastors Rev. Karl Herman and David Deatrich officiating.

The family will be forever grateful for the compassionate caregivers of Four East at Meritus Medical Center and the staff and volunteers at Doey's House.
