William E. Fisher Jr., 84, of Bedford, Pa., died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

He was born Aug. 30, 1937, in Cumberland, a son of the late William E. and Edna Almeda (Hagar) Fisher Sr.

On Aug. 3, 1974, in Miami, Okla., he married Linda (Sigler) Fisher who survives along with the following family: daughter, Tina Preston, of Cumberland; daughter, Renee Minke and husband, John, of Keyser, W.Va.; son, William E. Fisher III and wife, Regina, of Hopewell; stepdaughter, Terri Showalter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Easton and husband, Carl, of Lakeland, Fla., Linda Hardman, widow of Kenny, and Carolyn Bailey and husband, Darryl, both of Cumberland; and brother-in-law, Karl Sigler, of Bedford.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Frank White Jr.

William worked as an Everett Boro Policeman in his younger years and was nicknamed "Muldoon".

He enjoyed woodcarving, "N-Gauge" Model Trains, and dressing up as Santa Claus for Christmas celebrations.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Oct. 25, 2021, at noon in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Steven Egbert officiating.

Burial will be in Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends will be received Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at the funeral home.
