Zanesville, Ohio - William Michael "Mike" Pegg, 56, of Zanesville, passed away on Jan. 25, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va., after a short illness.

He was born June 16,1965, in Morgantown. He was the son of Dr. William J. Pegg, of Frostburg, and Joyce Haines Pegg, of Wheeling, W.Va.

Mike grew up in Frostburg and graduated from Beall High School. Mike was a retired electrical super intendant at Bi-Con Services. He loved spending time fishing on his boat. He enjoyed raising cattle and riding motorcycles and four wheelers.

Mike was preceded in death by his young son, Joseph D Pegg (2001); and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by five children, Robert M Pegg (Kara), of Frostburg, Michael Pegg, of Boston, Mass., Joshua Pegg (Jennifer), of Oldtown, William James Pegg, of Grafton, W.Va., Taylor Grace Patterson, of Hamlet, N.C.; three grandchildren, Wyatt Pegg (Robert), and Eve and Gideon Pegg (Michael); two brothers, John Mark Pegg, of Vienna, W.Va., Christopher Matthew Pegg (Tracy), of Falling Waters, W.Va.; and a sister, Lisa Michelle Bartsch (Leo), of Wheeling.

Friends and family will be received at Jarvis-Williams Funeral Home, in New Martinsville,

on Feb. 1, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m.

Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, New Martinsville.
