William "Bill" M. Swanner Jr. Obituary
Cumberland, MD - William "Bill" M. Swanner Jr., 79, of Cumberland, died July 12, 2026, at home.
Born Nov. 19, 1946, in Oakland, Calif., he was the son of the late William M. Swanner Sr. and Dorothy Yvonne (Piatt) Swanner.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda (Carder) Swanner; and siblings, Teddy, Charles and Donnie.
Bill had been a car carrier for the teamsters in Baltimore, Md.
In his free time, he loved to tend to his garden - he could grow anything! Times spent with his family gave him great pleasure!
Survivors include his children, John, Jennie, Ronda and Kim; siblings, Freddie, Lynn and Dick; grandchildren, Jennifer, Derek, David, Eddie, Patricia and Ashley; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., Cumberland, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m.
