Zora Mae Warner Obituary

Zora Mae Warner, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday April 23, 2021, at Doey's House, Hagerstown.

Born April 1, 1938, in Keyser, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Ike and Ruby Jane (Sanders) Baldwin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Martin R. Kesner II and Krista Kay Winters; five siblings, Leo V. Baldwin, Ginger A. Longwell, Irvin S. Baldwin, John R. Baldwin and Kaye Hannas.

Mrs. Warner had worked as the first female security guard at Fairchild Republic, Hagerstown, and was the first female worker at Fenton Glass Works, Williamstown, W.Va.

She was of the Christian faith and loved people and humanity. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her dogs.

Mrs. Warner is survived by her loving husband, Mark W. Warner; two children, Charles C. "Chuck" Kesner and wife, Janet, of Fort Ashby, W.Va., and Sally A. Clever and husband, Lloyd, of Greencastle, Pa.; sister, Emily Genuse and husband, Geneo, of Ranson, W.Va.; nine grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Ethan, Sasha, Amber, Steve, Curtis, Julia and James; and granddaughters, exchange student from Russia, Natalia Lelbiks; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Virgil Cain officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Desmond DeJesus.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
